He really loves the natural connection between the door
and the 4-color split painted accent wall next to it.

Preparation

.

.

Fill the grooves with a crack filler to a thickness of 2-3 mm (the volume decreases as it dries anyway, so there is no need to make it pretty). After drying, flatten it with sandpaper. After filling and drying the area, repeat sanding 3-4 times.

.

.

.

.

Smooth it out first with coarse sandpaper, then smooth the surface again with fine sandpaper. It's a very tedious job, but great results will come at the end.
.
He applied two coats of gesso as a primer, and decided to change the door design using the wainscoting technique. First of all, if you search for wainscoting images, various photos will come out, so please refer to them when designing.

Designing the approximate spacing and size by using masking tape on the door is a must. You can imagine the final look when you use a tape similar to the thickness of the molding.

You can draw an approximate design, determine the size, and order framed wainscoting based on the outer diameter size at the DIY shopping mall.

Here are what the border moldings and 6mm mdf panels look like
after he arranged them.

.

.

.

.

Align the corners at the right angles, attach woodwork bond, wrap it well with masking tape so that it doesn't move, put something heavy on it and dry it overnight for better results.

.

.

.

.

The next day, he carefully peeled off the tape
and filled the gap in the middle with a crack filler.

.

.

.

.

After drying, sand the rough surface with fine sandpaper. Attach 3M 9070 strong double-sided tape to the back of the wainscoting and MDF panel, and apply woodworking bond on top of it in a zigzag pattern, then press it against the door.

Since MDF panels are heavy, it is safe to attach the door by laying it on the floor. He fixed it with masking tape, and after one night, it stuck very well.

Now all you have to do is paint!

.

.

This door is actually a bathroom door which hygiene and cleanliness are essential. Therefore, the homeowner chose Noroo. Paint as it is an eco-friendly paint with excellent bacterial and fungal resistance.

Noroo Paint All Cover is a multi-purpose paint that's very suitable for home self-interior and can be used in various ways such as walls, furniture, doors, and steel.

Blue Popsicle

.

The color he used is Noroo Paint's Blue Popsicle, a sky blue mixed with gray that makes it appear soft yet still quite lively and standout to create a cozy feeling.

.

.

.

.

Noroo Paint left an excellent finish, it applies smoothly and the subtle gloss is just right. He also changed the doorknob after painting.
